I was taken into Ohio State University Hospital in 16 June 2022 as a very sick individual. I had swelling of my brain and spinal column , severe malnutrition, memory loss, body pain with no specific areas just all over, weight loss of 30 lbs, didn't know what date or what city I was in! At 70 years of age a Nam vet I overall had been in pretty good physical health, no heart trouble, sugar or other elderly problems. It snuck up on me very gradually with no severe pain just fatigue, loss of appetite memory loss my wife could detect nut not me. I was in OSUH for 17 days in which I think every test imaginable was done just about. But CNS Vasculitis is a very rare disease only two in a million get it. The only gold standard foe testing is a brain biopsy that as intrusive procedure is more or less a last resort. I tested positive on the biopsy on 26 Sep Sep 2022. Well in the process this Neurologist decided to adopt this old sick puppy much to my liking. Has a very good bedside manner more of a I want to know how , what's going on, how do you really feel ? Not the flip the paper on the clip board see ya in a week or two! Na very personal and she appreciates my upbeat positive attitude which also makes us a team ! Currently I am in undergoing CHEMO but so far has dine very well with no bad side effects. My disease has no cure but we are trying to domesticate it into a controllable if not put it into a remission sate,
