"I have been seeing Dr. Johnson and his staff for over four years. I moved 3 hours away, yet STILL refuse to give him up, and this year I am 4 hours away. I will still make the drive each seven weeks. He listens. Then he investigates with tests. Thanks to him "listening" to me, I found meds that returned me to living a productive life, and I just had surgery that allowed me to get rid of my pain. The staff is great, they are helpful, and I can't praise this Doctor enough for caring for his patients. He knows first names, we are not numbers. So happy I started there, and until he retires, I will continue to go there. "

"Dr. Brionez continued to recommend steroids even though I they did not work for me and gave me poor side effects. She also sent the wrong prescription to my pharmacy and would not return my 6 phone calls on the issue. When I spoke with my pharmacist she told me Dr. Brionez admitted fault. My pharmacy helped me solve the issue and not the office. She also told my pharmacist she was considering discharging me as a patient. When she was on maternity leave her PA was very rude and and not helpful. I had an 8:00 am appointment on March 17th and Dr. Brionez did not show up to the office until 8:10. I was not taken back to a room until 8:20. Every appointment took an hour. "

"My son waited 6 months for this appointment after being diagnosed with autoimmune issues and having abnormal labs. He hasn’t been feeling well and multiple physicians referred him to a Rheumatologist. He was feeling too sick to walk this morning without being dizzy and as a result we were running late for our 8:00am appointment. We arrived by 8:18am, which exceeded the grace period of 15 minutes by 3 minutes. This doctor made us wait 6 months to see her and then wouldn’t see us because of 3 minutes. When we discussed the reason for seeing the doctor and the reason we were late, Dr. Lai still didn’t care. It should be a crime to do this to a sick child. If you need care, stay far away from Dr. Lai and Texas Children’s. I’m still in shock she wouldn’t see us and we are rescheduled for 14 days from now with another provider. BEWARE of Dr. Lai, she doesn’t truly care about a sick child or she would have seen my son today."
