Primary Care Doctors - Luling, TX

"This doctor does not care about his patients. He will make you come in over and over, most likely to charge your insurance again and again. He tries to manage care that specialists are already managing . My mother is young elderly but very ill. She is in pain which causes problems with paying attention. This doctor would not even bother to call me and tell me what he said to her during their last visit. She couldn't tell me; she has problems with attention. She is declining fairly quickly lately and I am trying my best to manage her care and hold a job. I have power of attorney. He would only tell me if I came in for an office visit but I live hours away. Most likely he wanted me to pay for the visit. My mom has a psychiatrist who manages her psych meds. He tried to get her to take another antidepressant and when she said she wouldn't he wanted her to come back into the office, and charge her for another visit. This is not his area of specialty. She takes benzodiazepines for anxiety symptoms related to having Parkinson's and he changed her dose without good explanation and when she argued this, he told her she needed to come in. I know he has to make money but come on - this is really poor patient care. Especially for a family doctor in a really small town in central Texas."

"It’s impossible to get an appointment. They sent me a text to complete registration for and because I didn’t reply within an hour they cancelled my appointment. I work during the day and cannot be on my phone. I called to make another appointment and was told I would have to wait another month for an appointment I can’t even make. "
