"My review keeps getting removed from Google as I guess they don't want to look bad. I had one more visit after writing this original review and was confronted on it not being "nice enough" and was told that they'd to see a nicer review from me in the future. Reviews are meant to be unbiased, I wasn't even going to write one until Dr Tony asked me to leave a good review for them. So I'm assuming they wanted me to lie and that most of these comments are BS. I've now redacted 2 stars since my original review because of this. In rebuttal to my review, Dr Lisa told me "well it's a surgery, of course there are going to be many post op appointments". it's minor surgery, so actually no, it wasn't obvious to me. never assume what the patient knows. I wasn't told about them besides the first 5 appts. so I had no idea what all was expected to happen for 2 months post surgery, I only know what you tell me about it. it's one thing to be late seeing me every few visits, it's another to be late almost every time I see them. especially at the frequency I was coming in. Dr Tony and Lisa have excuses for everything and want to argue with their customers instead of taking the criticism either with a grain of salt or seriously. real professional to pick a fight with your patient on their review instead of "I'm sorry we couldn't accommodate your needs, we'll keep this in mind for future patients" you'd think they would understand that people work corporate jobs, with meetings back to back. I didn't even write this in my original review but now that they've asked me to talk about how the surgery went because that seemed to be the only thing that went well here, here it is: The surgery went great, I got great results ultimately. however early on in my healing process, Dr Tony forgot to refill my steroids very early on as mine leaked and ran out. due to this my vision got very blurry again and my eyes were not healing as expected. so not only did he forget to write the crucial script (it happens), I called for 3 days on the prescription line and no one answered me even when I was leaving messages. my next appointment, Dr Lisa tells me sternly "you really shouldn't have gone without the steroids", as if it was my fault. then she gave me a sample to go home with. this whole time (5 days) I had gone without steroids and Dr Tony could have just sent me home with a sample?? scary moment when your eyes of all things stop healing. ORIGINAL: The staff are very friendly and helpful. However, I found several times that I was waiting over an hour past my appointment time. I got PRK surgery and was not warned of all of the follow-ups to come besides the first 5 appointments the days following the appointment. Had I known this, I would not have gotten this surgery this year considering the amount of time I had to take off for all of the follow-ups. Transparency would have been appreciated. This office really does not cater to the working person. I work a corporate 8-5 job and cannot be taking off in the middle of the day twice a week for appointments. Saturdays or extended hours would have been appreciated and would allow this office to have more clients."
