"To be honest I don't remember the exact date I want to see Dr Handy but it was when I had just moved to Georgia in 2019, for background I had been trying to conceive for almost 2 years. I went for my annual and wanted to discuss my concerns about conceiving. I was battling depression at the time and had gained a few pounds but was no more than 20 lb overweight he said to my face that since I moved to the South I'm probably eating too much barbecue and if I lay off I'll be better off trying to conceive. This was after I was in the exam room for almost 2 hours waiting to be seen. I do remember in detail calling my mom, I am well into my 20's at this time, crying because I was so frustrated. He also went on about extra testing for STIs and I said they were not necessary as I was in a committed relationship and I could not have gotten them before this relationship. Fast forward to me getting a bill and on the bill was a $75 fertility charge and an itemized detail of additional STI testing. He is a fraud and money grabber and extremely ill-mannered for the profession he is in. "

"I saw Dr. Thorne in July for a routine exam. During the exam he took a swab to test for infection. Instead of requesting a simple test for yeast infection, he ordered the Cadillac of tests, costing over $1,100! Of course, my insurance company denied the bulk of the charges as unnecessary and excessive which led to me having to pay a huge out of pocket amount. "
