Dermatologist - Columbus, GA

"Dr Hougeir is a competent dermatologist. However, he doesn't know how to maintain a schedule. I have been going to seem him for about five years. He is always late. In my latest appointment I waited 90 minutes and still did not get to seem him. That was my limit. Although he is generally apologetic when he is late, he exhibits no evidence that he is going to change. "Let the patient wait" seems to be his credo"

"Called to schedule a new patient appointment and was told Dr. Goodman does not see patients at any of the offices. Only NPs and PAs see patients. Having a practice bear a physician’s name when they do not see patients seems misleading. This is very disappointing. "

"Horrible waste of my precious time! Left very early because of traffic, construction, trains, etc. Arrived 10 minutes early. Completed paperwork in time for appointment and waited another 30 minutes and still did not get called back. This despite others, who arrived later than I, being seen. I was told they likely had different doctors. As I was telling the receptionist I could no longer wait, my name was called. So I thought I would give it a shot and then I was told it could be another 30-40 minutes before a doctor could see me!!! Life is too precious to be wasted waiting for a practice who has inept scheduling! 2 hours of my life I can never get back! What a WASTE!!! A lot of practices threaten to charge you $$$ if you miss an appointment, (understandable), how about they reimburse US if they can't keep THEIR commitment??? Emergencies I completely understand, but was not the case here."
