"It is important for us to document the experience with Dr. Altman for your records and awareness. Dr. Altma’s office is not prepared nor have the professionalism and etiquette to deal with patients under 12 years of age. Hygiene is certaily not a priority – Due to our experience it seems as if his personnel dislikes the resposibility to sanitize exam rooms after each patient. Dr. Altman lacks patience when dealing with children. On our first visit he left the room as he explained – “He Can’t deal with a uncooperating child – too much time”. ( My five year old was told he had to get a shot and naturally he became scared yet he did not cry). So he left the room, we had to ask his assistant to please ask him to return. On our last appointment, Lisa (Front desk/patient greeter) placed a paper on bathroom that read ‘OUT OF SERVICE’, this with the purpose so that my two children (3 and 5 years of age) do not have to use the restoom for potty (and as she said, it would not smell nor have the responsibility for her to throw the garbage out). The inside admin (Ashley) collaborated by informing us that we could use the Walgreens restroom – 5 miles away. Needeless to say, I was hurt and and in disbelief – especially when they heard my 5 year old saying he had to pee prior to photo therapy treatment. [The client after me happened to be my collegue and ofcourse she was granted access to the bathroom – confirming their intention]. This has been our first experience dealing with this office and doctor, I make you aware so that other families do not have to live through a moment as uncomfotable and emotionally painful. "
