Family Medicine practitioners - Fontana, CA

"I tried to contact this place to speak to someone to ask if they are taking in new patients, called 3 times with no results. So I went there to ask that question the girl that was there said yes, so I filled out the form. On Aetna's website it said that this was Family Practice which is why I was there, after approx wait of 2 hrs then seem by the person there, he told me that he could not give me an oral prescription and that it wasn't a Family Practice, that it was across the street! And sorry for the misunderstanding. "

"Dr. Phan has consistently treated me with respect, dignity, and incredible thoughtfulness. I am a mom of a 10 year old boy with autism. While I love my child more than I can say, the impact of autism has been extensive. I went from hardly getting sick, to experiencing an array of symptoms, that I knew were stress related, but knowing they were from stress didn't stop them from happening. I would make an appointment to see Dr. Phan and he never once made me feel embarrassed or ashamed. He listened to me and together we would come up with a plan to treat my symptoms, or at least rule out the stuff that frightened me (chest pain, numbness and other things )...With his support I have lost 60 pounds. I work out almost every day. I went to therapy, started weight watchers, and began taking care of myself. The symptoms return every once in a while (when my son's struggles are off the charts), but I am able to deal with them in a much better manner. I attribute the drastic changes in my health (that have all been for the better), to Dr. Phan. Every interaction was therapeutic. He has helped me more than I could ever articulate. I wish all physicians had a similar bedside manner. Given I am someone who works in a hospital, I have a unique perspective on physicians, and I can tell you that Dr. Phan is a great one. "

"Went to Michelle for an issue and she didn't want to treat me because I mentioned an accident and she doesn't work with accidents. My visit had nothing to do with an accident which I made extremely clear because all she did was repeat over and over like a broken record she doesn't deal with accidents. Completely unprofessional and made me feel very uncomfortable. The only reason I mentioned an accident was because she asked me about my year. I eventually had to give her an ultimatum saying "ma'am I am not here due to an accident, please stop mentioning that, I am here with my own money and insurance. If you simply don't want to help me, don't, stop wasting my time and let me find someone who will." Not only that I have top tier health insurance that she BILLED and got FULLY paid for without even properly accessing me or doing her job. Long story short she ignored all of my follow ups, didn't treat me, and within a few days I was in the hospital. I do not recommend her at all and urge people to be careful going to her, especially if you have any type of history of anything: headaches, fell, accident, sore body, etc. She hops around to different facilities as well."
