Dr William Beardslee is Director of the Baer Prevention Initiatives and Chairman Emeritus of the Department of Psychiatry at Boston Children’s Hospital, as well as the George P Gardner and Olga E Monks Distinguished Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. A child and adolescent psychiatrist, his work focuses on prevention, resilience, and the mental health of children at risk due to parental mental illness and other adversities.
