He was late getting back from lunch, the waiting room was a little dark with most of the lights off. He glanced at my twisted fingers, asked if middle knuckles hurt. I said "not really". It was the rest that was twisted and hurting most. He just said, "You don't have it." Couldn't care less. My primary doctor said, "I think he's wrong." He sent me to another rheumatologist who said "WHO told you that you don't have it?" "So I do?" He said, "Oh, yeah!"
