Therefore, I strive to alleviate some of this anxiety through open communication in a patient- and family-centric model of care delivery. I want the child and family to feel comfortable asking questions and to develop a sense of trust in our healthcare team. I am a board-certified pediatric general surgeon who cares for children in all age groups – newborns to adolescents.
