I was trying to locate a new doctor.  I couldn't get past the receptionist.  She was very indifferent and instantly let me know they had nothing available until November.    When i told her I could wait she did not seem pleased at all.  When I wanted  to know the hospital association she first told me UT Southwestern and then put me on hold to come back with Baylor and then proceeded to see the doctor worked in several hospitals.  Here next request seemed odd, she want to know what medications i was on because the doctor "didn't prescribe narcotics."  I told her some of the prescription names and she stated they were narcotics and again that "she doesn't' prescribe narcotics."  i told her I didn't think they were narcotics but she insisted they were.     I contacted my pharmacy to be told that they were indeed not narcotics.  I called back to try again for an appointment and told her what the pharmacist said and she again insisted one of the medications was a narcotic.  Ten with an aggravated tone she gave in to giving me an appointment.  If this behavior is allowed my her staff, then i think I will be better off with another doctor.
