For someone that spent alot of years in school, this physician lacks sympathy and professionalism. Took my newborn in for bloody stools only to be told "i was looking too much into it" while showing her my baby's diaper. Of course I am! He's my child! Imagine not knowing the anxiety or overwhelming frustration a mother is carrying post partum and here comes the provider acting like my concern isnt really severe. Maybe its not! But how about you educate a parent! Edcuate them on why there is blood in baby's stool, inform the parent on what signs to look for! Teach the parent what cows milk allergies are, dont belittle someone just because they are asking questions on how to help their baby. I almost feel like I had to advocate for my baby. Repeatedly asking her if the bloody stool persisted, would she then recommended a GI specialist. Once again, never got a straight answer. 

Back story: premiee baby born 34 weeks with 2 intestinal surgeries in less than 5 weeks of being born. I tried to give people the benefits of the doubt, maybe she was having a bad day. But she did leave the room to check the results of the stool sample (only because i asked if she knew if it had been tested or not for protein) and could of apologized when she returned ....but nope. Instead she said he should be fine once the formula was changed to the more broken down one. She COULD of said, please call if the symptoms persist idk SOMETHING!
