Lori Ann Lancsek, FNP

It is difficult to describe the admiration for and the appreciation that I have for Lori Lancsek. I was a patient of Dr. Terryberry's for 25 years and after he left practice, I doctor-hopped looking for someone to be a partner in my healthcare. I was very frustrated at not being heard, feeling rushed during appointments, and not trusting that the practitioner was invested in me as a person. From my first meeting with Lori, I felt a great sense of relief and finally knew that I had a healthcare partner. She restored my faith in the medical profession. She has never let me down and I am on the road to better health at 66. She's amazing!

My care provider is Lori Lancsek, and she is wonderful. Always professional and kind. She listens to my concerns and helps me walk through any situation that is coming up with my health. Offers such wonderful advice and referrals and possibilities that I never would have considered or known about. Great information, so knowledgeable. I feel very confident and always talking to her about my health, especially as I am getting older and seem to have more physical situations coming up. I am so blessed that she is here in OBX.

I think Lori is probably an excellent NP but during my visit with her and I felt rushed. I didn't feel like she took the time to get to know me as a patient because she was in a hurry. I later found out that she was very busy that day with many patients. I would really like to stay with Lori and ECU Health but if I am going to feel like my time is limited due to over booking, I'm not so sure.

Lori is one of the most caring providers I have ever had. She never ceases to amaze me at how prepared she is for my visit, having reviewed my chart prior to my visit. And it means so much that she always makes sure my questions are answered & my needs are met, then circles back to make sure again! Although our visits aren't long, I always leave feeling my needs have been met.

FNP Lori goes above and beyond to help you with any concerns you have about your health, listens to all of your medical issues and addresses them each one specifically she is friendly, professionally knowledgeable, and consults with others before she determines certain decisions. Lori is reassuring and gives directions as to where we are headed with a solution so pleased.

Lori Lancsek is friendly and knowledgeable, always takes her time to explain everything and is very patient if asking questions. She is always guiding me to better health by suggestions that are good for me to incorporate in my life whether it's with food or exercise or just in general she's a wonderful asset to your healthcare community

Lori is probably the best healthcare provider I've ever had. She takes the time to listen, learn, and connect with her patients. She is thorough, organized and incredibly diligent. She is passionate about her job and it shows. I pray you will do everything to make sure she is happy to return her in this practice. Lori is amazing

I can't say enough good about Lori. She asked questions, listened to my answers and explained things thoroughly, When I left I felt very encouraged about my ability to take good care of myself. I'm actually looking forward to seeing her again and hopefully impressing her on how well I'm doing with her help!

Since I have been going to these solo offices, I have never seen an actual MD, but other titles. I dont know if its because they are restricted by their position to help but every time I explain my condition concerns for extra help, I dont feel im taken serious or given the help, its always an obstacle.

I think Lori is fantastic! She is always very caring and does a great job listening. She always takes the time to answer my questions and does a great job helping me get a better medical understanding. I always brag on how wonderful she is to my family & friends! She is definitely a jewel!!
