Biography

Christina Bowen, MD, moved to The Outer Banks in 2009. Dr Bowen and her husband completed residency in Charlotte, NC and decided to raise their family in Eastern North Carolina. They both loved the Outer Banks and all of the wonderful outdoor activities they could enjoy with their children. In 2003, Bowen earned her medical degree from East Carolina University. She completed her intern year at Duke University and residency at the Carolinas Medical Center in 2008. In 2016, Bowen completed an Integrative Medicine Fellowship at The University of Arizona. She is currently board certified in Family Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Lifestyle Medicine and Integrative Medicine.
