I became interested in cardiology after seeing both the research and the hands-on care side of the field. During training, I watched how treating heart conditions can make a huge difference in people’s lives. I also came to value preventive care—helping patients stay healthy and avoid problems before they start. That combination is what led me to choose cardiology. I have a special interest in preventing heart disease and caring for people with conditions like heart failure, arrhythmias and coronary artery disease. I focus on using proven treatments and strategies that lower risk and improve long-term health. I also enjoy teaching patients about their heart and giving them the tools to take an active role in their care.
