Five stars for Inspired Dermatology in Greenwood Village.  This was my first appointment with Dr. Mayer and it was the most thorough and informative dermatology appointment I've ever had.  Dr. Mayer is professional, knowledgeable, and very personable.  The office was comfortable and efficient, and when I requested a return call on an insurance-related matter, it was Dr. Mayer himself who got back to me.  He made sure the matter was resolved the same day.  I'm very pleased to have found such a great dermo!

An extremely pleasant experience at Inspired Dermatology, from their friendly front office team to his kind assistant, Carol. Dr. Mayer takes time with each patient, personally answering questions patiently and professionally. I haven't had this thorough of a dermatology appointment in years. He froze a pre-cancerous spot on my nose during my annual check and a week later he removed a couple of cysts from my scalp. Everything was simple and almost entirely painless. Dr. Mayer explained what was happening during the procedure and took the time to answer my questions. I highly recommend this practice.  

Such a wonderful caring doctor and assistant Carol. After the examination, Dr. Mayer explained what needed to be done and time-frame involved for results of the biopsy. He was so gentle in doing the biopsy that I only felt a little sting that I was told to in advance that I might feel.

I was referred to Dr. Mayer after spending time with Anschutz where I would typically be seen by an NP and have to pay a facility fee! I began seeing Dr. Mayer in February 2023 for routine exams as I have a history of skin moles and need to be evaluated every 6 months. It is a small family owned practice which is so refreshing during the the age of large hospital affiliated practices. He is very thorough in his exams and recently removed an atypical mole and I had no issues. He airs on the side of caution which is important in treating any issues regarding the skin.  His MA Carol is lovely and the front office staff is welcoming and they make you feel part of the family. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Mayer for all of your dermatology needs!!

Dr. Mayer, does an excellent check of your body for any skin issues and problems.  He spends the time going over any related problems that you may be concerned about.  The office staff is excellent, and very friendly.  I highly recommend Dr. Mayer.

A wonderful friendly, caring and understanding staff and doctor. I love the the extra care for my health and well being. Dr. Mayer goes out of his way to insure my comfort and healing process. 

I went into Dr. Mayer for dry scalp issues and he immediately knew how to address the issue and I’ve had lasting results. Dr. Mayer is very thorough in answering any questions, breaks down explanations and genuinely cares about making sure that I understand all of my options. Would highly recommend, will be going back for all derm needs. 

I had an amazing experience at Inspired Dermatology. I had a strange dryness/buildup of dead skin on my neck that slowly progressed into an itchy, scaly rash. My regular dermatologist brushed it off as allergies and I treated it as such for several months, all while it was getting worse and worse. Eventually the rash covered my whole neck and was unbearably itchy. I went to Inspired Dermatology after reading their stellar reviews and I was not disappointed. They were kind and considerate to me every step of the way. The receptionist, the medical assistant, and the doctor all treated me very well, which has not been my experience at other places. They were just as concerned as I was about my neck. Dr. Mayer spent a long time with me, asking me questions and answering mine. He didn't talk down to me, or interrupt me, or deride my guesses as to what might be wrong. Initially he wasn’t sure what it was, so he sent me home with a few different treatment options. He was so invested in my care that he called me later that same night with a new idea of what might be the cause (a fungal infection). He sent in the new prescriptions right away and I was able to get them the next morning, which meant so much to me because I was literally writhing on the floor in pain/itchiness. He was absolutely right about it being fungal, and the rash went away over the next few weeks. I visited the clinic weekly and they called me to check in on how I was doing regularly. They were just as thrilled as I was when it finally went away. I have never had a doctor or their staff treat me so well. They bring a whole new meaning to patient-centered care. I recommend Inspired Dermatology to everyone, even to my family (who live in another state)! I wish I could go to them for all of my healthcare.

Inspired Dermatology is an excellent place to come for your dermatology needs. From the moment you step in the door, the front desk staff is welcoming and friendly, and the comfortable atmosphere stays throughout the entire visit. The nurses and doctor and friendly, informative, and efficient. 
Personally, coming to the doctor always makes me a little nervous, but this office will help put you at ease. Furthermore, the doctor went above and beyond to make sure that all my health needs were taken care of and that all my questions were answered in detail. If you haven't made your appointment here yet, the time is now.

Dr. Mayer took the time to thoroughly examine my skin and identify all issues.  There was no rush, and he explained in easy-to-understand terms what he found and where appropriate the treatment options.

I recently had to switch Dermatologists due to insurance changes and found Dr. Mayer through my insurance portal. Dr. Mayer was very thorough and did a great job explaining everything in layman's terms so I could understand. The office staff was very friendly and welcoming, I would highly recommend Dr. Mayer to anyone looking for a Dermatologist. 

Excellent all around experience from the office staff to Dr Mayer. He is very professional, Compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. He spends time with you and explains your diagnoses. I feel  very confident that I am getting the best care possible.

There isnt enough to say about Inspired Dermatology and Dr. Mayer's staff. It was personal, caring and very simple. I would suggest Inspired Dermatology to anyone looking for a very intelligent doctor, personable staff and anyone that would like to go back to the day where patients seem to matter.

I had a great first experience with Dr. Mayer and his staff. From the time I walked in until the end of my appointment. Everyone was very attentive, and polite. I did not have to wait a long time in the waiting area or to see the Doctor. He listened to me and answered all of my questions and concerns. He also scheduled my follow up appointment before I left the exam room. I would highly recommend his practice.

Dr. Mayer is an extremely knowledgeable and professional dermatologist. He took nearly an hour with me to make sure that he understood everything about my condition. This was a second opinion and he got it right as opposed to what my first opinion was. He is now my dermatologist and I couldn't be more satisfied.

Entering the beautiful and calming Colorado-scaped waiting room, I was greeted by the warm-hearted and friendly front desk team.  After an easy, seamless check-in process, I was escorted---on time---to the exam room for a skin check.  Dr. Mayer entered promptly and took time to get to know me as a patient and address the concerns I had.  His kind, reassuring, yet professional approach put me at ease, as did the wall of credentials highlighting Dr. Mayer’s impressive medical résumé.  Never did I feel our interaction was rushed, and all my questions were fully answered with true expertise.  From start to finish, and from the entire team, I was treated dignity and kindness.  I have already recommended Dr. Mayer and Inspired Dermatology to my sister, mother, and friends within the Denver metro.  I plan to be a patient for many years to come. Great to have found a good dermatologist specializing in medical dermatology and not cosmetic. Dr. Mayer was caring, thorough throughout my exam, and made sure all of my questions were answered.  Pleased to have a dermatologist that cares and has time for patients.
