Dermatologists - Thornton, CO

"When I made an appointment I said I needed spots checked on my face and for hair loss. When I arrived at this office, I was told the following: 1) I was considered a new patient since it had been three years since my last appointment and that they were no longer taking new patients. 2) Dr. Chevalier would not do a full body skin exam and that I would have to make a separate appointment for this. 3) Dr. Chevalier would not examine me for hair loss and that I needed to make a separate appointment. This is because the person I made the appointment with didn't write down I wanted to review/discuss/look at my hair loss. I was not told at the time I made my appointment, that I needed to make 3 separate appointments. These "policies" were not explained to me when I called 2 months ago to make the appointment. I was in Dr. Chevaliers office less than 10 minutes. This is not good patient care, yet I had to pay $60 co-pay. I have called my healthcare insurance company and reported Dr. Chevalier and Apex Dermatology. This office and doctor provided very poor patient care. I recommend finding another Dermatologist. "
