I felt as though my concerns and confusion were heard and addressed with a good bit of respect and maybe a bit of humor (in a GOOD way). I had my spouse with me, who is a medical professional, and Dr M had no problem at all with clarifying a number of points brought up by either of us. I felt like Dr M used data driven reasoning for his responses without being a slave to it. That is, he reported grey areas in the body of research without undermining its general principles. He also discussed alternatives if one course of action seemed less effective than expected.

Dr McGregor is the most thorough physician I have ever experienced (since I was a child). He never makes me feel as though he is rushed, listens carefully, exhausts all options for my care and is very kind. He is one of a kind in admitting he will follow up on his recommendations to me with research and get back to me if he finds options which might work better. I had seen Dr McGregor about a year ago. He met with me in the ER after I had another syncope episode and scheduled me for an echocardiogram. I met with him 3days later to discuss the results of the echo and treatment for these episodes. Started me on a new medication and follow up appointment. Was very kind and caring.
