If I could leave a zero rating for this doctor, I would.  I needed to have a PICC line removed from my arm and a new one inserted.  Before the procedure, Dr. Xu said he would numb the area with Lidocaine.  When I was wheeled into the procedure room, his assistant asked if he wanted "some medication" for me.  Dr. Xu clearly said no.  Not knowing how painful this replacement procedure would be, I didn't say anything initially but was literally yelping as he shoved the tube into a vein located deep within my arm. Apparently realizing how painful this was, he decided to administer the Lidocaine about 1/2 way through the procedure.  Lidocaine stings so all that did was add more pain to an already painful mistake on his part.  If at all possible, avoid seeing this doctor. I will NEVER allow him to treat me again.
