This sadistic monster gave me no pain medication during my chemotherapy port insertion. Having stage 4 cancer, I have had numerous surgical procedures over the past 3 years and every other surgeon gave me adequate pain relief. The nurse told me I would feel a little pressure during the procedure. Dr. Raker proceeded to forcefully stab me in my neck, leaving me in utter shock. Then I felt another stab and thought to myself, “This is pressure??” But the worst was yet to come. Dr. Raker sliced through the skin on my chest, ripped the fascia that holds the skin and muscle together, and shoved the the port under my skin. I screamed yelling “you’re hurting me!!” I never imagined that anyone could talk, let alone scream during surgery. Within 2 minutes he was gone without saying a word, and I was left in agony and completely traumatized by this barbaric experience. He is a modern day Josef Mengele. I am stunned over this concentration camp treatment and in disbelief that Long Beach Memorial would employ such a cruel and wicked individual that takes delight in physically harming unsuspecting patients.
