It was reported to him multiple time the meds he prescribed to my child were not working and making things much worse. He refused to try anything else other than increased the does over and over which lead to severe MH symptoms such as med induced schizophrenia, and becoming a safety risk to themselves and others. As well as a hospitalization due to pancreatitis. El-Nabbout did not do routine labs to check how meds were affecting my child's overall health until things got very scary and other drs were overseeing my child's health at the hospital. I'm very unsatisfied with his approach. I changed drs and detoxification began and my child is doing much better now that they aren't taking the approach Dr. El-Nabbout was so adamant about, or I guess lack of other efforts or any other understanding by him no matter what advocacy was attempted for our child. I will never trust him with any of my families health.
