"My OBGYN left the practice when I was well into my 3rd trimester, and although it was frustrating to deal with the very real possibility of not knowing who would be the doctor delivering my baby, I took a shot with switching to Dr. Robbins when I was 35 weeks pregnant. I had a sonogram scheduled for the day of my very first appointment with Dr. Robbins and she knew immediately that my baby was not growing correctly. My previous OBGYN had not noticed anything out of the ordinary and was in and out of the appointment within 5 minutes tops at every appointment, but Dr. Robbins took the time to explain everything to me during this first appointment. She ordered weekly tests, and told me that she would be doing some research on how to proceed with my pregnancy, since everything else seemed completely normal and I had no other complications. She managed to develop a comfortable dr/patient relationship in the 3 weeks before medically inducing me and delivering my child safely. She was always very thorough during appointments and delivery, and always treated me with respect when I had any questions or concerns. "

"Dr. Sobbing delivered our child. I couldn't recommend anyone any more. I read a story in the local business journal about how he grew up being raised by women, which made him want to do something to help women once he got done serving in the miltary. Everything about him is amazing (as my wife can attest to). His staff really gets along well with him too. Our baby came early and we had the OBGYN who was on call for the first hour of labor before Sobbing got there. It was a night and day difference on how we felt. Anxiety was high before he arrived. He got there and just chitchatted with the staff and us, whistled while he worked. There was a little complication before he arrived but he told us in a very calm way that he didn't think it was a big deal but could cause us to need to do a vaccuum, but that didn't end up needing to happen. When he arrived, he estimated labor would take another hour. Baby was delivered within like three minutes of his prediction. We have recommended him to friends of ours, who have also had great experiences with him. "

"Let me begin with Dr. Chibry is amazing at what she does. She took care of me when I had an emergency ectopic and all of its related issues. That was in 2017. Since then, we've had no end of issues with the office, nurses, and billing staff. We've had some challenges with the Nurses when trying to get questions answered (as others have mentioned, they're very dismissive), get things scheduled, and they wouldn't post any of my labs to my portal without explicitly being asked. In 2018, I discovered that my insurance was charged for services that were not provided. I was having depo (birth control) shots sent to my local pharmacy and was administering them myself. My insurance was charged for multiple office visits and injections on site, which wasn't what was happening. When I called to figure out what happened, I was treated very rudely and the insurance was reimbursed. If I had not checked my Explanation of Benefits, I wouldn't have known about them over billing my insurance because they never sent me a bill for these (they're fully covered). Now, we're getting ready to have our first baby. Like some other people, we received a contract agreement for pre-payment. We spoke to our insurance and they told us that they need to run billing through them first before we pay anything. The billing person refused to look at any documentation that the insurance provided us. The insurance company and the medical office have a contracted agreement for what to charge, but that's not what the College Hill staff were trying to have us pre-pay. They wanted us to pay our full deductible in advance of that year, and then refund us later what the insurance would adjust and pay on our behalf. This is well over a thousand dollars of difference! I told her based on the medical billing in the past, I'm not comfortable with this. If they had to take a payment, I offered the amount that would be what our final cost (the deductible we'd be responsible to pay as per the insurance listed) amount would be, broken down in 6-7 payments. She refused to take anything less than the listed amount on that contract. She refused to allow me to see my doctor based on inability to pay their amount. She said they weren't denying us service, but if we didn't pay, we didn't get to see the doctor."
