I have been a patient of dr henry for a few years now, and i felt compelled to write a review for him after reading the one and only on this site for him. (2023 i believe) i dont think it needs to be said that the person who left that review is bitter, and demanding narcotics regardless of dr henrys pain management plan for her/him. Coming in with a note from past dr is unheard of, you have your records sent. Also, when you get a nerve block, you dont also get narcotics... dr henry has every right to decide to prescribe narcotics or not, to any patient. Thats the drs desreetion. Also, he probably would have given non narcotic pakn relievers alongside a nerve block, but that person went to dr henry as a new patient basically there to demand narcotics. And the fact they had prior issues with said meds, again, up to the dr if he wants to prescribe, not their previous dr. Also, malpractice for NOT giving what you immediately asked for, absolutely insanity. Dr henry has been fair, informative, patient and wonderful as long as ive been a pt of his. Please dont let that 1 star review deter you, although im sure anyone with any sense would be rolling their eyes as much as i did reading it. His PAs are wonderful also, Olia is one that i see and i feel well taken care of there. (Dent wherle)

Dent’s neurologists formed a plan with neurosurgeons to treat two discs that are causing compression of nerves , leaving me in tremendous pain . Dr Henry was tasked with treating this pain, specifically in my back and left leg, to a point that would allow the surgeon to address the nerve/ disc in my neck that could paralyze me if I get whiplash. After Henry saw me, and I brought him a note from my previous subutex Dr that I saw due to my time as a patient of Dr Gosey, I was told he refused to mask my nerve pain with narcotics.and this was his final decision. I responded by informing him I had already seen the neurosurgeon and his plan involved Dr Henry addressing the pain in my back with nerve blocks and medication so he could operate on my neck. Also I pointed out that he was discriminating because I came from a subutex clinic that his colleague (Gosey) put me in following his arrest. Most folks know Dr’s do not appreciate being corrected, let alone forced to treat a patient they swore they never would. . Needless to say, I am receiving the minimal amount of methadone for pain, and nothing for breakout. Nerve pain is the worst, and I am now bed ridden. Now the surgeon must address my back and leave me vulnerable to catastrophe . I am seriously contemplating malpractice especially if my outcome is not good. Stay away from this guy, he does not practice according to medical standards , he is rendered impotent by istop, insurance, and fear of the opiate crises hype.
