Cardiologists - Appleton, WI

"I saw Dr Dong Bo Yu, MD for the 3rd Office visit now. He is very rude & literally has no bedside manner what-so-ever. From the very 1st time I met him, when he walks in the room he doesn't say "Hello" (& didn't introduce himself either) & he doesn't say "Good-Bye" when he leaves the room. He has NEVER truly explained to me exactly what the issues are with my heart &/or what the potential game plan is to correct whatever issues may be going on with my heart. More recently he told me that I needed an Echocardiogram & CT Scan Angiogram & he basically jumped down my throat, wondering WHY the CT Scan Angiogram that he had Ordered awhile back hadn't been done sooner? Funny thing is, it wasn't done SOONER, because HE said that it didn't need to be done, because I get CT Scans done every 6 months for my Cancer checks & Dr Yu stated more than once, that he can see from those CT Scans what he's looking for in regards to my heart issues!! Get it together, Doc!! During my last office visit with Dr Yu, I handed him a piece of paper with a list of my more recent symptoms. He threw the piece of paper back @ me & said "I DON'T want to read about your symptoms, start talking about them!" Dr Yu then made the comment "If your symptoms are worsening, we may have to consider Open Heart Surgery." I was completely taken aback by this comment & replied "Are there any other options available besides Open Heart Surgery?" Dr Yu's abrupt/sarcastic reply back to me was "NO there aren't any other options available!" I was in complete shock @ the moment & the tears began to roll down my face, as Dr Yu, abruptly walked out the door!! After that, Dr Yu's nurse came in & scheduled me for an Echocardiogram for the following day @ ThedaCare AMC Hospital. On Saturday morning, I went back to ThedaCare AMC for my Scheduled Echocardiogram Appointment, only to find out "they DON'T do Echocardiograms on the weekend." Great waste of my time! The following Tuesday afternoon I was Scheduled for the CT Scan Angiogram @ ThedaCare AMC Hospital. I received a message from Dr Yu's office confirming this upcoming Appt, however, the gal who sent this confirming message to me would've had me going to the WRONG PLACE for checking in for this Appointment, if I wouldn't have known where I was going. Thank God I knew where I had to be to check-in for the "CT Scan Angiogram" Appointment or I would've been LATE checking into my Appointment & have run the risk of being rescheduled. Seriously get it together people! Let me also say, it was duly noted in BIG & BOLD by Dr Yu's nurse in my PT Chart Online, for someone in his office to CALL ME to discuss the results of the "CT Scan Angiogram" in which those results were available as of Tuesday evening (08/22/2023) & I have yet to hear from anyone in Dr Yu's Office to discuss the Test Results!! Lastly, I find it very odd that NONE of my AVS (After Visit Summaries) &/or Office Notes were/are ever loaded to "MyThedaCare Portal" after seeing Dr Dong Bo Yu. Go figure that one, huh? Yet ALL of my other AVS &/or Office Notes are uploaded to "My ThedaCare Portal," from ALL of my Office Visits with ALL of my other Dr's. My very last AVS (After Visit Summary) from my Office Visit with Dr Dong Bo Yu has been uploaded to "My ThedaCare Portal" only AFTER I had messaged his Staff & complained about this situation. However, NONE of my previous Office Visits with him have been uploaded! I find this very odd & very concerning, to say the least! Do yourself a huge favor, DON'T WALK, but RUN AWAY from this so-called Provider. I didn't want to leave "1 Star" for this guy, but I had no other choice. Go to the Heart, Lung & Vascular Institute of Wisconsin (HVI) they have several locations in NE Wisconsin."

" Have had multiple issues with this physician unless u are aware of medical dianoses and read his summeries or know when he suggest somethen he can add things that are not do to any issues u may have which can harm u in the long run "
