Family Medicine practitioners - Mountlake Terrace, WA

"I went over to my annual check up and I've asked the doctor to run regular procedures. I've questioned the doctor and the nurse if I would get a pap done. During the consultation the doctor denied having the pap done by saying it was not needed (even though it was included on my annual check up routine and paid for the insurance). On the other hand, after the doctor learned about my divorce, she told me she would have to run several tests on me (very unprofessional from her insinuating that because I am single I probably have STD). I told the doctor I was not having unprotected sex and that I was confident I was clean. She insisted. Now, I'm being charged for the several tests I've never consented having done and that I've never been informed that were outside the regular check up and I would have to pay for. The doctor never provided me with this information and maliciously requested them even after I said I was not having any unprotected sex. The doctor has clearly acted against my own interesting, has clearly hidden information and intentionally took advantage by requesting expensive and unnecessary tests. Extremely disappointing. If you decided to see her, be ready for a lot of unexpected bills and to have her coming in late for your appt."
