"I have been participating in a pain management program for the past fourteen-years. Started in Pennsylvania, then New Jersey, and now that my wife and I have been in San Antonio for almost five-years, I have found a practice that listens, is compassionate, and provides the necessary treatment and care that I require. I have been a patient of Dr. Tisdall's for roughly 3 1/2 years, and have had a number of procedures over this period of time. When we found that one worked better than the other, it was an easy decision to continue with only the injections instead of alternating between them and an ablation. My regular doctor is P.A. Reed, who knows everything about my condition and me as a person. He has an excellent bed-side manner and works with me when I have difficulty acclimating to a particular regimen. After fourteen-years of doing this dance on a monthly basis with countless other physicians and practices, I am grateful to have found Dr. Tisdall and the Spine & Joint Pain Specialists. Most people leave reviews when they are fed-up or frustrated with their care, and I don't think nearly enough of us post positive comments when everything is going well, and we don't have any complaints. So, I wanted to share my positive experience , as it has been that way since I became a patient. I have no desire to look elsewhere, regardless of the fact that there are many other practices much closer to where I live in the Medical Center. When you find the right doctor, it doesn't matter how far you have to travel to get good treatment, and be treated like a human, instead of a number or someone who is nothing but an addict. Now, if I could find a pharmacy as welcoming as Dr. Tisdall's practice, I would be golden."

"Calls are never retired, can’t pull paper off their fax and file so must bring referral with you. Constantly do not send out our refills, send to wrong pharmacy even after telling them multiple times, refills are only given after we run completely out. Any problems are your responsibility to resolve. Constantly doing their job. Needed a new year referral. Was given two days notice three days before meds ran out. Constantly having problems three four times a month. Had several doctors over the years, they are the worst. Fouled up my ablation and had more pain than expected in my entire life. "

"Nicest guy until he gets you into a conversation, then judges you inadequate based on false information he got on the internet. Didn't find out 'till the end of the first session with him that he wasn't being friendly all along, just getting me to open up so he could set me up and deny me assistance. I believe he is a cruel man in reality behind a facade."

"Poor care for patients. All Dr.Moran wants to do is sell you on procedures you don't need so he can fill his pockets. First year was great then his staff began to quit and the mind set changed. Please be careful and trust yourself. "
