"Fui de emergencias al memorial Herman por problemas de vesícula biliar , me atendió este doctor y me realizó un procedimiento, el doctor tubo mucha paciencia al explicarme todo además es muy amable , desafortunadamente la clínica donde pertenece mi doctor primario no aprobó la referencia para mi cita con el post operatoria y estoy batallando para encontrar quien pueda retirar el stein que el doctor Shah me colocó y debo retirar en un plazo de tiempo , me hubiera encantado que hubiese sido el ,pero por cosas con el seguro médico no será posible 😒le deseo muchas bendiciones y espero que lea mi opinión y la traduzca lol , ya que no soy de estar escribiendo opiniones , Gracias doctor 🥰(Sendy Abreu )"

"This office is a mess! They will schedule an appointment to the wrong place and make you waste your day of work. Are they going to compensate us for the time off requested? This is a rhetorical question, of course, they will not. The best part, the lady from the desk did not even care about it, but at least she admitted that she didn't call us to rectify the address and send us to the right place. I guess I didn't call you, she said. I guess? No, you did not call us and that is why we are calling your office right now to understand what is going on here. That is why I am letting you this review also. We are humans and mistakes could be made but at least be empathetic with your patients. We did not feel her empathy when we were there trying to understand this messy situation. She was so focused on rescheduling the appointment. And my husband has been in pain and discomfort. So the office staff scheduled this appointment for my husband to get an endoscopy. They gave him a document and highlighted the name and address where we were supposed to go. They assured him that the Physicians Endoscopy Center was the right place for his procedure because it was on the network and this is where Doctor Javed performs endoscopies. Their words. We were there on time. Well, what a surprise when we got there and the lady at the front desk let us know that this center was out of network so no procedure could be done. A man also came to the front desk and told us that they hadn't seen this doctor for a while in the facilities (so how come this is the place where Doctor Javed regularly does the endoscopies?). In addition to that, the day we had the first appointment in his office, everything looked disorganized. The printer was not working and even the doctor was trying to fix it. There were a lot of people at the front desk apparently attending to this matter. I got a feeling that something was out of the place or, more accurately, all over the place. We were seen by the medical assistant first, but in the middle of the conversation, doctor Javed opened the door. He did not apologize for the interruption and was asking some questions about another patient’s insurance or something like that. The assistant stopped talking to us and the doctor took over. He was attentive and responded to our questions. It didn't feel rushed. But honestly, his questions and observations seemed erratic or disorganized (the kind of “what else can you tell me”/ “is there anything you want to add” questions) which was compatible with the atmosphere down there in the front office. Perhaps this was just a bad day. I don't know. We don't want to find out. We requested the doctor's notes and test results and we are looking for another GI doctor. The icing on the cake was the doctor telling my husband (at the front desk after he left the room, and when the meeting was over): Ah, please, also do an ultrasound gallbladder. There, just like that, in front of everybody. Were there other patients listening to the tests my husband needed to take? Thankfully, no. But this was another red flag because as a doctor you have to respect your patient’s privacy and I think that includes not prescribing procedures or tests in front of everybody at your front desk and waiting area. Please consider this piece of advice to put it into practice. The bottom line is don't waste your time going to this doctor’s office until they get their act together. Unfortunately, that is difficult to know but read my review and ask questions that will avoid wasting your time, and double-check everything with the office and your insurance. I feel they don't respect their patients’s time and do not empathize with them, us. No wonder they gave us an appointment the very next day after we called. Does this office have patients at all? And if they don’t, why is that? Here in Houston is hard to get a prompt appointment with a gastroenterologist but I can tell there are organized offices and GI doctors. Unfortunately, my husband couldn't get an appointment with one of my GIs as soon as he needed."

"This Doctor had her staff call me 1 hour before my appointment to cancel and reschedule to 11/26/2025. The staff called me again 11/25/2025 at 2:50pm less than 24hrs before my next appointment and stated they needed to reschedule for the same reason they provided last time. Literally sent me a copy and paste email from the last reschedule! I will not recommend!"
