Primary Care Doctors - Friendswood, TX

"I took her as my new doctor because she was really well review online as a good listener. Couldn't be further from the truth. She completely steamrolled me throughout the first appointment, talking all about general health and diabetes when I was mostly just there to check in, tell her about my newfound food allergies and update her on how my chronic back pain has been (pretty good actually). I could barely get a word in edgewise through what felt like a preprepared 20 minute speech on diabetes. I felt like I was in high school health class! Elementary stuff like what a breakfast should be. And every time I tried to intimate that I understood she just kept on going like I was a kid. The few times I did manage to speak up, she treated what I said like a joke. In a friendly way, don't get me wrong, she wasn't laughing at me, she was trying to get me to laugh *with* her, but still, NOT what I want in a physician! Unless you have diabetes, steer clear, that seems to be the area where she actually knows her stuff. PS: I didn't even think she listened to me about the food allergy thing, until I received a referral call from the Allergy clinic two weeks later out of the blue. It was not addressed in the appointment beyond "oh, you'd probably need an epi-pen for that" and no mention of a referral or prescription for that being made. So at least there's that: she may be listening even if she doesn't actually address it. Looking for a new provider."

"She is the best. I understand that she is leaving and I am very unhappy about this. She has been the best doctor. So thorough and helpful. Very concerned about your care. I will say that the office staff leaves a lot to be desired. No follow up, slow to respond. Not a good situation."

"I started seeing Dr Orsak before I moved to Pearland because my fiancee started seeing him almost 15 years before I moved to Pearland. He is the best Dr I have ever been to and I am 65 y/o. I will never see another dr even if I have to pay out of pocket to see him. He always listens to my concerns, always answers all my questions and has always been very accommodating to myself and my husband! "

"2/3/2022 My husband and I were at our dermatologist office a few days ago and walked next door to Dr. Praisoody's office which was next door. This was to inquire if we could make an appointment to meet the doctor since she is in our Aetna network of doctors. We need a primary care doctor that is close to where we live in Alvin. My husband was in her office to make the appointment and was told that if we were over 80 years old the doctor was not taking any more patients over 80. Now this really surprised us. I'm thinking....maybe the doctor does not know that is the information her front office is passing on to prospective new patients! Carolyn Evans "
