General Practitioners - Del Rio, TX

"The general impression I get every time I visit this doctor is I am nothing more than a dollar sign. The office is littered with PAY NOW signage, PAY NOW etiquette, and visits by the doctor that leave one with more questions than answers. Based on input from other medical providers, and he prescribes medicine that are antiquated and not properly prescribed for my specific needs. One might question if he is more interested in pharmaceutical kickbacks then customer health? The nurse that takes you back for your initial exam is very nice. The doctor then comes and you perceive you are instantly a nuisance to him based on his glaring over his glasses, non-communication and lack of interpersonal skills. Each visit, gives you only precious seconds to say what needs to be said before he says, "I will write you a script for..." and heads for the door. On my last visit, I had to stand in front of the door to keep him from leaving! He consistently provides little to no education on the condition / treatment options / directions / recommendations. I have pages of specifics to back that statement up but will leave it at that in the interest of a short review."
