"Dr Edwards is the best orthopedic doctor in Dr. Edwards is the best orthopedic doctor in South Carolina. I won't see anyone else. I have seen him for years. he has remove arthritis from my spine twice in different places and once in my neck. He talks to you like you are a person and explains what he sees and what can be done. He always leaves the decision up to you. He talks plain talk and not a bunch of medical garbage that you understand. I plan to go back to see him again about my back pain before long. You can't see a better doctor. "

"Dr. Litts saw my 16 yr old son on February 6, 2022. My son experienced a popping noise and intense pain in his elbow when he stood up and pushed off his desk. That day, his elbow audibly popped and sent intese pain down to the hand around 5 times. This repeated once or twice each day for the next 3 days. He saw Dr. Litts on day 4. The pain and popping had stopped by then and the only issue he was having was a little weakness and tingling in his hand. After about 10 minutes, and NO imaging, Dr. Litts diagnosed him with Ulner Nerve Suplexation and said the only path was surgery right away. Needless to say we were stunned and followed our gut to seek a second opinion. The next hand and elbow orthopeodic we visited did one x-ray and immediately saw the problem that required NO surgery! The surgery Dr. Litts insisted needed to be performed (with zero imaging to prove his diagnosis) is a serious surgery with very high risk of permanent nerve damage and is generally only used as a LAST RESORT! We are very dissappointed in his lack of professionalism and his bedside manner. When my son asked if there was anything he could be doing to reduce the risk of suplexation while he waited on surgery, Dr. Litts gave him a very sarcastic and condescending answer - to a 16 yr. old kid you just took out of basketball for state playoffs and dropped the bomb of surgery on! I do not reccommend this surgeon - to anyone. There are far better out there. Do your research!"
