General Dentists - Westbury, NY

"This would have been my second time seeing this dentist. Since retirement my dental insurance has changed and finding a new dentist is quite the challenge, especially one that takes a DMO. I chose Dr. Emanual because he was close by. He has no staff that I am aware of and answers his own calls or returns your call if you leave a message on his answering device. My first visit with him went ok. All I needed was a checkup and cleaning. Not much to write home about but the office, which is located in a section of a house, is something that was left over from the 1960's. He has one exam room which has a dental chair which is just as old as the house. It is well worn and tattered and definitely has seen better days! My exam and cleaning were completed without much ado. Fast forward to today when I had an appointment for my 6th month exam and cleaning. I arrived a couple of minutes early and tried to walk in. The door was locked so I knocked (his doorbell is disconnected). No answer, so I knocked again. No answer. This continued for 5 minutes until I got discouraged and went home. Seriously, what kind of dentist does this? Certainly not one I will go back to EVER!!"
