Otologist and Neurotologist - Orchard Park, NY

"My first and only visit with Dr. Raymond Paolini at WNY ENT on Sheridan Drive in Williamsville was extremely disappointing. To be honest, the medical assistant listened more to my concerns than Dr. Paolini did. I explained that I have been experiencing ongoing ear issues related to flying for years, along with sinus-related symptoms that have been affecting how I've been feeling overall for the past 3 or so months. After a very brief exam and hearing test that lasted only a few minutes, Dr. Paolini concluded that there was nothing wrong. When I specifically asked about possible sinus issues—which is the primary reason I scheduled the appointment in the first place and what several others had suggested could be causing my symptoms—my concerns were largely dismissed. I left feeling like my questions were never seriously addressed. The office seemed more focused on moving patients through as quickly as possible rather than taking the time to fully evaluate individual concerns. The only treatment prescribed was Amoxicillin, despite the fact that I had already completed a course of the same medication just a few weeks earlier. That information was already in my medical history. Dr. Paolini also suggested that my symptoms could be related to medications I am currently taking, but there was little discussion or explanation beyond that comment. Instead of feeling heard, I felt rushed and dismissed. Overall, this appointment was a complete waste of my time and did not provide any meaningful answers or solutions. I would not recommend Dr. Paolini based on my experience. Patients deserve to be listened to, especially when seeking help for chronic issues that have been ongoing for years."
