Counselors - Esopus, NY

"I came to Meredith Johnson with complex issues around living in Africa for 18 years, having just been cured of epilepsy by brain surgery and living with some of the aftermath of both of these experiences, both the best and the worst. I could not think of a better person with which to be vulnerable and feel safe at the same time. In our sessions, I WANT to do the work because she is encouraging and empowering."

"I sent my boyfriend in hoping he could gain some insight into his behavior and get some help with his anger issues. After one hour she determined that he was happy and there was nothing wrong and that I was the problem. She didn't have the professionalism to realize that people only show themselves in the best light, especially in their first hour of meeting a therapist. This was my one chance and hope that he could get some help with his anger issues and his communication issues and that maybe we have the potential to have some couples counseling. He was against counseling and she told him he didn't need counseling and that we shouldn't be together."
