"It has taken me a while before I am able to write something about almost dying under Dr. Bettencourt's care. The worse part is they never followed up to see if I was ok. It was a almost Christmas and a week prior she had removed a cancerous growth off my calf. The problem started few days later when leg hurt worse than after surgery and Dr's office gave me meds from office cause it "might" be infection. Several days later when I couldn't move leg and it was turning black I went back and assistant was crying saying Dr. couldn't write a prescription and I should go to another Dr or emergency room. Long story short they gave me acne meds for infection and my leg turned septic. My general Dr. saw me within an hour of this even though her office was closed for holidays. She gave me shots, fluids and lots of pills which I had to take for almost 5 months. My general said if I had waited another 12 hours I would have lost leg for sure and could have died because it was so bad. I have a large scar not from surgery but from infection and have problems with leg now. I consulted several attorneys who said I have a strong case with pictures etc but it would cost more in legal fees than I would get because NV has a cap on the amount you can sue a Dr. for in this state. Again, anyone can make mistake but when I returned they should have done something more than turn me away and should have follow-up to see if I was ok since I was under her care. "

"She addressed my concerns, did everything necessary during the visit. Is she the type of doctor that sits and socializes, no. She asks questions that pertain to what could cause the issue and discusses what different steps are available or can be taken. She will let you know what she believes is the appropriate next step during your discussion, but it's a dual agreement if you want to proceed; which I like. "

"Absolutely horrible office. Not friendly or caring. Don't follow up on care. Dr. doesn't seem to are about her patient care, only about money."

The staff of the Henderson office were friendly and helpful during my visit.This was a very good appointment experience. I recommend Dr. Thomas without reservation."

"During covid my mom was cutting my hair since the world was shut down and found a weird mole on my head. After a biopsy we found out it was melanoma. So 2 days later Dr. Fife got me in and got all my cancer on the first try. Dr. Fife answered all my questions (mostly moms) and was so caring/attentive the entire time. Even post surgery my head split open and they were amazing at getting me right in again to stitch it back up. Not to mention for a 5 inch slice in the middle of my head, you can’t even see it because he stitched it up perfectly. Now I go to the office for my 6 month cancer check ups and everyone there is wonderful. HIGHLY recommend choosing one of Dr. Fife’s offices (Vivida Dermatology). "
