"Dr. Tsang showed very little interest in what I had to say. I explained my situation to her, and after requesting a series of exams, she later told me that the results were “not clean,” meaning that she would need me to repeat the same exams several months later. During my first visit, I asked whether the hormone I had taken three months prior could affect the bloodwork results. She assured me that it would not, since the hormone should have already been out of my system. However, after the results came back, she said that the exams did not show what she had expected, and she essentially dismissed the entire discussion about my experience, my medical history, and the test results. She stated that she would not consider prescribing any medication or treatment, explaining that she was not “that kind of doctor” and that her clinic was not “that kind of clinic.” I found this response extremely dismissive and offensive. I am a university professor with a PhD from Harvard University—a married man with three children—simply trying to take care of my health and discuss possible ways to improve my well-being. What made matters worse was that she even implied I might be influenced by things I had seen on social media, as if I were a schoolboy! Overall, it was a tremendous waste of time and money to see her twice and to undergo the bloodwork she requested. I left feeling disrespected, unheard, and disappointed by the lack of professionalism and empathy in the way she handled my case."
