"Best Physician ever! He is MY HERO! Dr. Bigelsen gave me back quality of life! I was a healthy 45-year-old until sudden onset of multiple issues, including asthma. Whatever this syndrome was, it resulted in multiple ER visits, consultations with medical specialists, procedures, surgeries, tests, and the list goes on. Going through all of this made it difficult to hold a full-time job and be the person I wanted to be for my family & friends. Continued appts. with medical specialists only helped (barely) with symptom management. No one had any idea what was wrong with me. I very much disliked taking steroids but that's one of the only meds. that kept some symptoms at bay. Thinking it might be allergies, I had testing and then began taking shots monthly. No change after all of that. To make my very long story shorter, Dr. Bigelsen saw how frustrated & disillusioned I'd become with all of it. He put all the puzzle pieces together & researched. He handed me a medical journal article that seemed like it was written about me. It listed every symptom/problem I'd been experiencing! Now that there was finally a diagnosis, through his research, he also found a treatment. Once I began this treatment, it virtually changed my life. It - no, Dr. Bigelsen has given me back quality of life! No more ER visits, no more surgeries & no more steroids!!! I've never had an issue scheduling an appt. at his office(s). He takes his time & explains. He listens. At my last visit, my husband thanked him for "getting me back to who I was before all of this began". Dr. Bigelsen is my hero!
