"Took my 4 year old to urgent care because of an infected stye. The doctor told me she would be putting her on an antibiotic which could cause bloody stool, and then quietly said something else. She asked if I heard her, which I did not, so I leaned in and she whispered, "it could k i l l her". I am not sure why she felt compelled to only list these two things as possible side effects (Im sure there are hundreds!), but to inform a mother that the drug she's prescribing could k i l l their child, well, I have no rational explanation here. After speaking to another doctor, I was put as ease with the medication, but I cannot get over the way she handled our visit and her words. The cherry on top was that she was also incorrectly wearing her mask during this visit and was undeniably condescending with many of her remarks. I would avoid this doc at all costs!"
