Primary Care Doctors - Port Orange, FL

"New to the area and needed a PCP. Choose this one since looked to be close to me and would work for my basic doctor needs. I'm on on thyroid medicine and have been for years with the same dosage. That prescription was running out so went here. Process for a prescription is make an appointment, see a doc, get a lab work request, make another appointment at a lab only to make a third appointment back at this doc. I travel for work and making the third appointment is impossible for me for the next couple months. I fly out Sunday nights and back Friday nights every week. No Saturday appointments available. Website says Walk Ins Welcome. So today my trip was delayed a day so I had just today to go have my lab results reviewed as a walk in. Went to the office at 9am when they opened. Explained my situation to the front desk. Told no appointments today. Walk ins only for colds and the like but not for me. I explained my situation again and was told sorry. I just need to get a prescription I've been taking for years refilled. I'm told sorry. Yes....this practice is definitely sorry. A few minutes with a doctor to get my prescription filled and they won't do it. When my work slows down in a couple of months I'd gladly come and spend time with a doc. I'm taking my lab results and my wife to another practice."

"Not sure where "Dr" Grube got his MD. He was unable to research my allergy over 18 months, unwilling in fact. I was scheduled for a physical today and requested to discuss my allergy which I had been documenting with him for the last 18 months. He said "we aren't doing that right now." He knows that I have been suffering from symptoms related to allergy. I requested he hear me out, but no. He refused to discuss it. He was only interested in getting my physical completed. I took the day off work so that I could discuss mycotoxin poisoning. Dr Grube could care less. Same as when I came over the past 18 months, not interested in my health, just interested in gaining experience. I know he isnt in it for the money. He wears SCRUBS like he is a nurse. None of my other doctors dress so casually; they wear a tie, lab coat, much more professional/respectful. He has pathetic manners, is rude, talks to me like he is a misogynist. Everything here is half -ss. On 1/14 I had scheduled blood work and called ahead to request the Dr add a mold antigen, he refused. Just like he did today, refused to discuss it. I requested on 1/14 the office manager call me, she never did. This office is pathetic. This guy needs to go into a lab and give up patient - doctor services. Worst doctor I have ever seen. My symptoms were later diagnosed as a brain tumor in my posterior fossa extending into Meckle's Cave/ inoperable due to size and location, which Grube refused to listen to my request for care. I now go to Mayo Clinic in Jax were qualified physicians practice."
