"Finding the right Psychiatrist is so scary, so many have different views and way they operate. Dr. Murillo is the first Psychiatrist I have ever had in my life, to actually care about my story and wanted to hear me. He is the only Psychiatrist who not only listened to my story, showed empathy and talked through my story. Dr. Murillo is not the doctor to just throw prescriptions at you and that was exactly what I was looking for. Dr. Murillo's research and education is so clear he is just different. He looks at the impacts, the effects, he develops a plan but does not rush it and will make changes on the go as your body responds. He talks clear, you can tell him being a younger Doctor his research and education is more current than some other doctors but he also understands the medications that were produced 20-30 years ago. He found a medication that most doctors do not use anymore, was developed in the 1970's and my body not only responded but it solved one of my issues. He also coordinated care with my talk therapist on his own time and really just became a Psychiatrist that I trust. Whenever he has suggestions, he provides the research and the why and that is what the medical profession is losing. Dr. Murillo is bringing back care, compassion, and empathy to Psychiatry and I hope other's follow suit. "

"The staff was very friendly and periodically checked on me, provided updates and seemed concerned for my overall well being. However, my first and only appointment with Dr. Austin was very uncomfortable. He seemed dry and unapproachable especially after I mentioned I have a male partner the whole atmosphere shifted.
