Rheumatologists - Orlando, FL

"The staff are only out to cover their own self, they are unprofessional. One girl called me only to tell me she did not understand what the doctor meant when he wanted to change my prescription, she then proceed to giggle and say she would call back tomorrow with another person because she knew I could't understand her accent. The same girl once before called me requesting that I go for an X-ray which was never ordered. So I guess they cannot handle managing my health information. The office staff say they have been trying to call you when in reality, I had ZERO missed calls. Horrible. Dr. Javaid needs better staff. "

"Please believe me when I say you want to RUN far away from this guy! What is one of the most important things you want to find in a doctor, especially one in a specialty as frustrating as this? You want a doctor who listens to the patient and will actually care for the patient. When I tried to give him my history (being a new patient and all), he completely ignored me and didn't care what my previous doctors had diagnosed or the treatment plans I was on. Instead, he belittled me and made me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about, even though I've been living with this disease for over 15 years. I cannot express how unprofessional this guy is. From the moment he walks in his entire goal is to hear himself talk about how he's right and you couldn't possibly know anything about your disease, or 'if you even have it.' He is completely sure that he knows best and that the patients need to shut up and listen. I have never ran so fast away from a doctor. He makes you feel like you are not heard and you are a burden for being in his office. As a doctor with a specialty in Rheumatology, you would think he would have a better understanding of the disease and how everyone's body handles it differently. Do yourself a favor and find someone else. It took many attempts to find someone who actually seemed to know anything about Rheumatology and once I found them, it was a breath of fresh air. Again I cannot say enough how horrible this doctor is. "
