"This doctor was referred to me as In-Network for my plan by my general doctor. When I called to make the appointment, the staff member was unhelpful and unwilling to work around my work schedule, so I ended up not going to work for a whole day for this appointment. I went in, and as most doctor's offices, I was seen by the doctor 20 minutes after the appointment time. He literally spent 10 minutes with me, and advised of the colonoscopy I needed, and would like it done that following Tuesday. I went to the scheduler to pay my $60 copay, and she informed me that the cost for the procedure would be $1,000+ because they didn't have an in-house procedure room. I flipped out because, who can afford that...? She then informed me that if I waited about 3 weeks, they would open a new location in Kendall where the procedure room was in-house and it would cost around $200. This was more reasonable so she placed my name on the waiting list. I've followed up two times since then, they've never called me back, and it's now mid-June and I still haven't heard anything. This is a horrible office, the doctor was very dry when addressing me, and the staff was very unhelpful. I wish I would have read these reviews before going to him, because now I'm out of $60 and a days work."

"Dr. Nayer is the most amazing nephrologist! I have been seeing him for 3 years and he has kept me completely stable. My primary said I needed to see a nephrologist because my kidneys were failing, I was completely shocked because I eat super healthy; tons of vegetables and some fruits because I have diabetes and I’m allergic to gluten. After meeting with Dr. Nayer he reviewed everything, discussed it all in detail, and came to the conclusion that I was eating massive amounts of potassium and too much protein which is terrible for the kidneys so with a few tweaks of my diet we were able to stabilize my kidneys. It made me feel really good that he listened intently and did not jump to medication which a lot of doctors do. It’s a lot of work but we are always discussing how to make it better and adjusting when necessary; everything has potassium so it gets hard sometimes but Dr. Nayer is extremely supportive, helpful, and kind."
