Oncologists - Melbourne, FL

"Dr. Chopra couldn't give me answers on why his radiation left me with swollen gums and still no saliva after last treatment over a year ago...He claimed his radiation isn't causing this. I also mention my coughing up heavy mucous. He claims it is coming from my lungs which it isn't. My throat was over radiated. He also claimed that I should have seen him before having my throat cancer surgery. I would have been swallowing normally 6 months ago..Still can't swallow and still on a stomach tube. I think I was over radiated by his machine and he is covering up. He even said to me " why see me anymore" if you have all the answers? Is this what a professional should say to it's patients? He is the one who requested I see him for the next appt's. Pretty sad when I trusted him for answers why I am still in this condition and he just brushes me off saying it wasn't his doing."

"Try calling the office, If you're lucky you may get to speak to someone after hours of calling. When you call the main number and that's the only person you can speak to. She then transfers you to another number that no one answers. You're only option is to leave a message. I never got a call back after about 20 messages I had left. I just gave up and call another Oncologist. Karen, the receptionist actually hung up on me. I pray she never gets cancer and has to deal with someone like her. This is my first diagnosis of cancer, I'm afraid of whats about to come, treatment, chemo. This receptionist does not care. "
