"I was scheduled for surgery at 8:30 this morning (his first appointment of the day) and ended up leaving the office at 11:00 am without having the operation performed. He made me wait 2 1/2 hours in the exam room, and only finally came in after I threatened to leave. He didn't even have the courtesy to apologize! I was told that the surgery was urgent and needed to be performed ASAP, but he didn't seem to have that same sense of urgency. His time was obviously more important than mine, even though I was paying for his time. When I called him out on his lack of professionalism, he began arguing with me and making comparisons of my experience in his surgical unit with the drive thru at McDonald's. He claims he needed to get his research together for my procedure when everything he needed was in my chart that was left open on the counter in the exam room. I read the thing. Why it would take him 2 1/2 hours to get that information is beyond me and why he was not prepared to do the surgery at 8:30 in the morning when it was scheduled is frightening! He didn't like me calling him out on all of this and I realized that he was not the person I wanted operating on me when he seemed to think my surgery was akin to a fast food restaurant."
