"I understand Dr. Kitay must be very knowledgeable in in fractures and surgery but visiting him for my dislocated finger caused me more harm than good. The outcomes of meeting him was to give the swelling more time, after weeks wasted waiting for swelling to go down, I when to visit a different orthopedic hand specialist that said my finger was beginning to develop a deformity and needed therapy and to wear a sting immediately. He also advised that waiting so long in my recovery delayed my swelling going down. I clearly recall Dr. Kitay saying that waiting is the only thing that will reduce my swelling and that it may never go away, no need for therapy. Now a new provider is saying that my swelling will go down as I follow a therapy regimen. On one occasion I asked Dr. Kitay if there is any thing we can do to reduce my swelling, and he looked me in the eyes and said "no". Then I brought up a recommendation from a friend and he said that was actually a possibility and that we should consider that at a later time. Very glad there wont be a later time. "
