"Recommended by my new vet. Waited 1 1/2 hrs to be ushered to a room because they had lost me somehow between check in and me asking why I was still waiting. I was looking for something to ease dryness. Told doctor that DHEA had made my fibroid. He suggested something new on the market and gave me an expired coupon for it. Turns out the main ingredient is DHEA! Didn’t send my bill for the Pap or Mammogram to insurance. Charged me full price. Still trying to get them to return my call in billing to square up the bill."

"My Dr became unavailable and had to see a second choice, the office recommended Dr. Duncan. She made the otherwise awkward appointment pleasant. I have recommended her to a few people since then. "

"She does not respond in a timely manner or will ignore your massages. The office claims their online portal is the best way to reach her. However, over the course of 5 months I sent 10 messages working to get a prior authorization filed for a medication written by Dr. Rodriguez. Only 6 of my messages were ever answered, once not even by her. My prior authorization was finally filed and denied because "we were unable to reach your prescriber in order to complete the coverage review process." I finally got her on the phone where she claimed it was denied due to me not being on 2 alternative medications first (which I had been, and I had told her repeatedly in person and through the online patient portal). She said she would "play my little game" and submit a 2nd prior authorization. However, she lied, never did, and when my denial came in the mail it was due to not being able to reach my prescriber for more info, not because I had not been on 2 medications. I contacted her multiple times afterwards and left physical paperwork at her office to try to get her to contact my insurance and provide the extra information my insurance needed and she never did. Fort Myers Gynecology shut down June 1, 2024, and she is moving to Family Health Center at 1162 Summerlin Rd. (239-344-2348). I had asked her how I will continue to contact her once the office shut down June 1 so I could make sure my prior authorization went through and she gave me the number to the new office. However, when calling the new office she will not start there until 7/9/24- over a month between when her old office shut down. So, I have no way to contact her or get my prior authorization filed. Initially, she gave me 2 birth control options and I told her which I preferred if it was covered by insurance, but if it was not I would be okay with the other option. She said she would check and ended up prescribing my preferred option. Turns out my preferred option was never covered which is why I need the prior authorization. If she had just checked with insurance in the first place, I could have tried a different medication from the start. Whenever I brought up that I could try other things after the insurance problems she said I should not. I have never been to such an unprofessional doctor who refuses to work with insurance. Especially when me asking her to contact my insurance is "playing my little game." Hopefully she enjoys having a larger practice where she is likely not the one who has to deal so much with insurance. But, I will not be returning as I have truggled with her for almost 6 months now with no improvement or clear communication. I would not recommend her."
