Dentists - West Hollywood, CA

"Have had multiple bad experiences with this dentist office and the last was the icing on the cake. The supervisor/ receptionist is the rudest most unprofessional person with the most disgusting attitude I have ever met. At my wife’s most recent appointment they referred her to another office. The other office needed referral paperwork for the work to be done. Cindy in a totally bizarre and unwarranted manner lashed out on the phone and told my wife to submit the paperwork herself. How could we if we don’t have that info? Later that day we had to call again to schedule a follow up. Again Cindy was very rude and unprofessional and when we asked to speak to someone else for assistance with our dental needs she said she was the only person to talk to. We asked for the supervisor and she said she’s also the supervisor. She was extremely beligerante and even when we said we’d leave a bad review she laughed it off and said go for it. To make matters worse Dr. Omid requested a call from us to clear the air of the incident and surprisingly took her side and told us we were just misunderstanding the info Cindy was trying to relay. He said he didn’t want to get into the he said she said. But there was no he said she said. She was just blatantly beligerante. I would never want my health or money in the hands of a office so careless about the people they are supposed to care for. My wife had two root canals done and now we have to find another office to do the fillings. Dr. Omid did say we could come back but that would be extremely uncomfortable being as Cindy is the first and last person you deal with there. And Dr Omid is the one performing work on you. Additionally this office inflates the amount of work that needs to be done. My family has good oral health yet we were told at an earlier visit we needed 8k in work and almost all previous work done by our previous dentist needed to be redone. I would highly recommend finding another dentist."

"I went in for my appointment and once checking in learned that I had a high deductible that I could not afford. Dr. Jaffer was kind enough to sit down with me and asses what needed to be prioritized. Then I sat down with a benefits coordinator in the back where she gave me various payment options that were still a little pricy. I told her that I can't make a decision today and would need to think about it. She got really irritated and said that Dr. Jaffer carved out a lot of time for me today when she could have been seeing other patients and was pressuring me to make a decision right now because these offers will only be on the table today and that I knew when I made the appointment what needed to be done. I told her that I didn't know that I would have to pay over $700 when I made the appointment and asked what does she want me to do if I don't have the money. So I left and won't be back, I like Dr. Jaffer, but the front office staff are inconsiderate and unprofessional. "
