A Message from Dr Zain Talukdar, MD: I knew I wanted to be a doctor when I was 12 years old. As the child of immigrants and someone who grew up facing many of the same challenges my patients experience, I learned early that kindness, understanding, and support can make a real difference. After earning my medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and completing my pediatric residency at the University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital, I chose pediatrics because caring for children means caring for entire families. I know that parents are often tired, worried, and simply looking for someone they can trust.
