Assistant Professor of Pediatrics YunZu (Michele) Wang, MD, chose a career in medicine because it combined her interest in science with a desire to make a positive difference in the lives of children. At City of Hope® Cancer Center Duarte, Dr Wang sees pediatric patients with a wide range of conditions, including sickle cell disease, thalassemia, leukemia and lymphoma. She specializes in pediatric bone marrow transplantation and gene therapy, giving back to the Southern Californian community where she grew up.
