RE: the question " best or worst provider". I have no point of reference for "best" provider. So the answer Is a guesstimate at best. I know that I have a challenging back problem and Dr. Anderson has guided me through what seems to be all of the rational steps in identifying and resolving the issue (I.e., MRI, shots, med adjustments, referrals). My very typical medical history with physicians has often been hasty dismissal which has led to oversights of a serious condition that with the proper care, insurance and consistency might have resulted in a less dire outcome. So basically what I'm saying is that Dr. Anderson has kept me informed, comfortable and continuously on to the next step or test in an attempt to resolve my issues and for that alone I would give him a 10 for best provider.

It took me 4 months to get this appointment. In the interim I had a fall and shattered my left arm. I knew the Doctor wouldn't be able to begin treatment until this injury had been resolved. I went anyway just to get into the loop of future treatment. Dr. Anderson was very considerate and professional. He spent more than ample time with me. He asked for abundant information about me. He genuinely showed concern for my well being, then ordered test to proceed as well as we could given my current condition. I am well pleased that I invested my time and efforts to go see Dr. Anderson.

The gentleman who checked me in at the front desk was very pleasant, helpful, and professional. My doctor was absolutely amazing! It was my new patient appointment with him and he took the time to listen carefully to everything I said and performed a thorough but gentle physical exam of the areas that were bothering me. His communication was excellent! He explained his findings and recommendations In a way that was easy to understand and even reviewed my x-rays with me. I'm so glad I was referred to Dr. Anderson. I know I'm in good hands with his care.

I am fortunate to have Dr Anderson as my physician. For years I have sought him out for general medical advice outside his specialty. Dr Anderson listens to my questions, plus suggestions I had thought a possibility In my own care. Dr Anderson is able to either explain the alternative process or the 'whys' my suggestions would not apply to my multitude of health issues. He had listened to my constant disagreement to any of his evaluations In the early days. I have faith in Dr Anderson's collected knowledge.

I was very emotional leaving My visit A couple of months back. I felt as if my provider was not understanding how I could have so much pain. I felt my provider was leaning towards believing I should Be able to tolerate my pain. Later on the medical assistant, that sat with me while I waited In the seating room, reassured me that most people feel a lot of pain, and I'm not alone. All in all it was an experience that I did not like, but I was happy that someone understood my pain.

I left feeling very dissatisfied after my consultation with Dr Anderson and will not go back to see him again. He was not very proactive in providing information, did not walk through my imaging with me and explain the findings. I felt like I had to work hard to get the information I needed, had to keep asking questions because he was not very forthcoming with information.

The direct experience with Dr. Anderson was very good. The only issue that I had was that it took 2.5 months to get an appointment with him after I set it up. I was a first-time patient with him, so that may explain the long wait. If I had had a more urgent problem, I would have had to find a different provider. But my appointment with him went well.

Dr Anderson is extremely knowledgeable, professional and overall a great doctor. I've been seeing him physically or virtually for a few years. His treatment plan has made a difference in my life. I recently referred a friend, he is now also a patient for his spine problems. I am very happy with the care I receive.

Dr Anderson is by far one of the best doctors I've had. He is a spine specialist, extremely knowledgeable and offers treatment plans that actually work. Thorough spine evaluation & clearly non-surgical problem as considered most likely. Did agree that PT would be useful. But would have appreciated more specific attention to potential problems with scoliosis in terms of balance and need for strength, posture, prevention etc training.
